Understanding the core architecture of the NM-C561 motherboard makes it much easier to trace voltage rails and find faults. GS44B / GS54B NM-C561
Safety, compliance, and ESD notes
Never solder, plug in modules, or use resistance modes while the laptop battery or wall charger is connected.

While these boards are mechanically similar and may fit in the same chassis, the motherboards are due to different chipset and processor generations. Using a BIOS from one on the other will cause a "no power" or "no display" condition. Always confirm the motherboard part number before ordering a replacement or flashing BIOS.
These are likely from Lenovo or similar laptops (NM-C561 looks like a Lenovo motherboard code). I need them for voltage tracing and component identification. gs44b gs54b nm-c561 schematic
Do not mix boardviews. While the NM-C561 schematic covers the PCH (Platform Controller Hub), CPU power delivery, and I/O logic for both, the GS44B and GS54B have drastically different power sequencing around the GPU area. Using the wrong boardview will lead you to test empty pads.
