The plot follows Prem, a rich young man, and Suman, a girl from a humble background. When Suman’s father, Karan, goes abroad to earn money, he leaves her with his old friend Kishan (Prem’s father). Prem and Suman fall in love, but their relationship is opposed by Kishan due to their differing social statuses.
