The film opens with Lin Dong (Jackie Chan), a hardened special forces agent with the United Nations Security Service (UNSS). As his young daughter, Xixi, lies dying in a hospital bed, Lin is forced to prioritize a mission: escorting a bio-engineer, Dr. James (Kim Gyngell), to safety from a relentless, mechanically enhanced super-soldier named Andre (Callan Mulvey). Andre, created through a secret bio-chemical serum, slaughters Lin’s team and escapes, while Lin’s daughter passes away before he can reach her.
