: Often includes generic USB 3.x and NVMe drivers to ensure the OS can be installed on slightly newer hardware that Windows 7 didn't originally support. Security Warning

Even if a user wanted to install updates manually, unactivated or non-genuine copies of Windows 7 may not receive updates at all. Microsoft designed the activation system to restrict update access for unlicensed copies. A user on a forum explained: “They cannot be used on retail boards in a genuine way, that Windows is activated means nothing because the activation is not genuine” .

Standard Microsoft installation media usually contains only one or two specific versions of the OS. An AIO package modifies the installer file structure (specifically targeting a file named ei.cfg ) to unlock and display a menu containing all versions—such as Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate—from a single bootable USB or DVD.

As one security analyst put it: “For most people, an upgrade should be as simple as a license key. The hardware requirements are fairly low compared to modern hardware. Almost any PC from the last 10 years should be able to support Windows 10” . He further advised: “A user should never use an unsupported operating system for public facing internet use, like browsing the web or for email. It is bad practice” .

You are not getting "free Windows." You are renting your computer to a hacker.
