Move the probe slowly across the concrete surface in a perpendicular direction to the bars.
Per the manual: Hold the probe in the air, away from metal. Go to Settings > Calibration > Air Calibration . Confirm. Fail to do this daily, and your cover depths will be off by 2-3 mm. proceq profometer 4 manual
