In 1947, Presley formed his first band, The Dominoes, with guitarist Eddie Bo, saxophonist Percy Bastile, and drummer Jesse "Bubbles" Wilson. The group gained popularity in New Orleans, playing a unique blend of jazz, blues, and rhythm and blues. In 1950, Presley and The Dominoes signed with the local label, Imperial Records, releasing their debut single, "Do You Feel That Same, Sad Feeling?"
