Rotate the magneto drive shaft in its normal direction of rotation until the rotating magnet aligns with its internal pole shoes. In this position, the magnetic pull or resistance felt on the shaft is at its strongest layout.
Check the outer insulating wrap of the coil for swelling, cracking, or signs of overheating. Ensure the high-tension carbon brush is intact and moves freely against its return spring. Lubrication Protocols
