Keydbcfg Makemkv ((free)) Page
Edit /etc/keydb/keydb.conf :
: Open MakeMKV and go to Preferences > General to see the "MakeMKV data directory" path. Place the file : keydbcfg makemkv
This is the most common point of failure. You cannot place the KEYDB.cfg file just anywhere. It must go into MakeMKV's dedicated "data directory." Edit /etc/keydb/keydb
: Ensure MakeMKV can contact its own "HK" (Hashed Key) server. with the metadata stored in KeyDB.
For example, users can store metadata such as movie titles, descriptions, and cover art in a KeyDB database, and then use MakeMKV to convert their media files. The resulting files can then be stored in a file system, with the metadata stored in KeyDB.
