Perhaps the most unique element of the 80s bold lifestyle was the "Pito" (whistle) culture. In a regular movie, silence is golden. In a bold movie, the audience was a live studio audience. When an actress removed a piece of clothing, a chorus of pito would erupt. When the camera zoomed in for a close-up, there were cheers. When the inevitable "hulidap" (police raid) scene occurred, there was laughter.
