The first volume, officially titled (and also known simply as L'École de Laetitia vol. 1 ), debuted in France in 1994. It was quickly followed the same year by L’école de Laetitia 2 , which featured the alternative promotional title Le retour de la directrice ("The Return of the Headmistress").
